Following the success of the International Marimba Competition 2006 in Linz
the Classic Concert Music Group
– in collaboration with the renowned International Summer Academy Salzburg –
is hosting an
International Marimba Competition in 2009
for marimbists of all ages and nationalities.
The Competition will take place at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg
– the historical Austrian city, home of the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
