The Wave Quartet will be on tour in Japan from the 8th to the 20th of July 2013 and will perform concerts in Tokyo (Suntory Hall), Osaka (Phoenix Hall) and Okayama (Renaiss Hall).
In addition they will hold masterclasses in Tokyo (at the Toyko college of music and the Toho Gakuen Music School) as well as as in Kyoto, Hiroshima and Okayama.

Multimedia Performance

For 2013 Bogdan Bacanu and Composer/Mediaproducer Hannes M. Schalle are preparing a multimedia driven performance programme which will be premiered in autumn in Salzburg and released on the web.

For me the culture of touching the keys and musical perfection of Bogdan Bacanu on the Marimba can be compared to the way someone like Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli plays the piano.
